“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change” ~ Carl Rogers
Change is difficult, challenging, and even scary at times, but it is also the one constant we always find in our lives. We must be able to step out of our comfort zone and withstand the discomfort for change to occur in our lives. I believe that each of us holds our own answers regarding the changes we need to make, we just need a little guidance to find those answers in our own time.
Therapy is certainly a process. My goal is to be the teammate to provide support and guidance to my clients as they search for the answers they are looking for and implement the changes necessary in their lives to be their best self. What a beautiful journey it is to watch unfold in front of my eyes every day!
For the past eight years, I have worked in a private practice setting serving individuals and couples. My focus has been on 18 and older, with majority of my clientele being middle aged. I am open to serving clients as young as 16, but I will also refer out if I do not feel I am a good fit as a therapist for
you. After all, I do believe that the therapeutic relationship is the kindling that provides the spark for change in our lives.
I have a great deal of experience working with the following concerns:
Severe and persistent mental illnesses
I am excited to be of assistance to you as you make the changes you need in your life. Please feel free to reach out for a free 15 minute consultation to see if I am the teammate you have been looking for. I do offer evening and weekend virtual hours to make therapy more convenient for you. Additionally, I have hours that I will be meeting face to face with client’s in the clinic. Blessings to you as you begin your journey. I hope your destination finds you exactly where you need to be.
Kristin accepts Humana, WEA trust and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. She will begin seeing new clients in Aug 2022.
