What does your logo symbolize?Our logo is a blue lilac tree. Lilacs are one of the first flowers to bloom in spring. Hence they symbolize new beginnings, renewal and love. The blue lilac in particular symbolizes happiness, tranquility and confidence. Our tagline - BUILD, CHANGE, GROW - represents what we will help you with in our work together!

How do I make an appointment?If you are ready to start your journey, Click Here to begin! If you are feeling unsure and would like to meet with one of our team members for a complimentary consultation, please call our Office Manager, Carrie to set-up your first appointment at 262-235-4385 ext. 7. Once you are an established client, you will be able to make your own appointments and manage your account within our client portal. *Please note: All appointments with Alyssa for Medication Management must be made by calling our office.

What can I expect from my first appointment?At your first appointment, you will be asked a lot of questions about different life areas so that we can learn more about you. We believe that YOU as the expert of YOU, alongside with our professional expertise, can create attainable goals that will help you on your journey of becoming your best self! We will also answer any questions you may have about this process. You will leave feeling way more comfortable than when you walked in and we are confident you will not find counseling as a scary process!

What kinds of things will I learn during counseling?The answers to this can be endless! But in general you will acquire many different effective techniques to help you BUILD a skill set, CHANGE how you think/feel/behave, and GROW into a more authentic person. You will develop a better understanding of your anxiety, depression or other mental health concerns and education on the brain, body and mind connection. You will learn how to identify and reframe unhelpful thoughts so that you feel more positive. You will learn mindfulness strategies to become more present in your life and within your relationships. In addition, you will learn how to be more in control of your life versus feeling like life is controlling you!

Can I do my sessions virtually?Yes, we have virtual capability through our software system. If using your insurance, please check your benefits for coverage as this changes frequently according to pandemic updates. Click Here to start your journey!

What if you do not accept my insurance?We are in several insurance networks to help serve our clients. If we do not accept your insurance, we do accept HSA or FSA cards as there are tax savings on using this toward mental health appointments. We can also provide you with a Superbill that you can then provide your insurance company to determine if they will reimburse you for part of your session fees.

Is counseling confidential?Counseling is confidential. However, there are exceptions where we are mandated by law to break confidentiality. These exceptions are as follows: In the case of suicidal or homicidal thoughts; with a plan and intent on carrying these thoughts out When child or elder abuse is occurring When an insurance requests information If we are presented with a court order If a client is involved in a lawsuit We will go over these limits of confidentiality during your first appointment in more detail and can answer any questions.

Can I call to see how my family member’s treatment is progressing?We value protecting the confidentiality rights of all of our clients. We enjoy working with families but can communicate with you only if your family member agrees to sign a release of information, and for what specific reasons, or invites you to a session with them.
